Melissa Mann

Melissa Mann writes contemporary fiction, poetry and notes to strangers left in library books. She has also carried out and published research into creativity in literature. Some of the poems from Melissa's collection Pink Knitted Love/Hate Mittens currently feature in an online chapbook at Open Wide magazine. Four stories from Melissa's anthology The A to FF of London and Other Journeys were short-listed for The Asham Award (2003 and 2007), the London Arts New Writing Competition and The Harpers & Queen/Orange Prize for Fiction Short Story Competition. Two other stories have just been accepted for publication in the Laura Hird Showcase and the lit mag Gold Dust. Melissa recently did a reading as part of the London Lit Plus Festival.
