I was drawn in by the 6-8 stanza of The Carnal Hypothesis loved the lines about the world being a prison but have to admit find the use of furthermore, moreover etc in (13) quite dull, does he write this way deliberatly though as you mention sarcasm, as well as dull it comes across quite quirky almost as if he is taking the piss?
