Info on: Daphne Buter
I live in the Netherlands. I was born and raised in Amsterdam. I am a writer. I published two books by De Bezige Bij & Thomas Rap publishers.
Translated from the Dutch stories are published in Snow Monkey [print] and in Cadenza (UK) [print]. I started to write stories direct in English in December 2003. I'm surprised but happy that FRiGG Magazine [Ezine] published 5 of my flashes in April 2004. A short story is published in Edifice Wrecked [Ezine] in May 2004.
Fortcoming: Mindfire accepted two translated poems. One of my translated short stories is accepted by Night Train for their printmagazine. One of the short stories I wrote direct in English is accepted by Dicey Brown for their print magazine, a story by SmokeLong Quarterly for their print magazine, and a Flash (and one of my paintings) by Sleeping Fish for their print magazine. A translated short story is accepted by Inkstains for their webzine, and a short I wrote directly in English for Inkstains printmagazine.
