Get Creative Winner

It’s time to announce the winner to our Get Creative competition (apologies for the delay, both myself and Sean have had rather a lot on over the last few weeks, hence the rather sporadic updates to the site).
Congratulations (and a Beat t-shirt!) go to Roxy Erickson, who cheekily submitted all the photos from her website. You can (currently) see an example of Roxy’s work on The Beat home page, but there are many other interesting pieces on her site, so go and take a look.
Roxy has worked for some big publications, and has had the luck to photograph some big names in music, which is reflected by the photos on her site, as well as having some more personal portraits.
Well done Roxy, and thanks all for your entries, hopefully we’ll be able to run another competition soon to give you all another chance.

Fantastic style and a clearly portrayed vision graces Roxy’s work. I love it! Simple, yet so much room to fill with meaning.
