Get Creative!

Here’s a chance for you to get creative - we’re looking for submissions of original artwork & photos, and the best piece (as judged by myself and Sean) will be featured on our homepage for a month (with a link to your website if you have one), plus we’ll throw in a Beat t-shirt (modelled here by the lovely Lisa Zaran). We’ll also be sharing some of the best pieces with everyone during the course of the month.
Here’s a few rules to make things easier for everyone:
- Please submit your own work - art, photos etc.
- Submissions should be emailed to competition@the-beat.co.uk
- Please submit in .jpg format, no more than 2mb in size if possible, or even better, host it on your own site and send us a link to it.
- Submissions will be accepted until 31st July 2005.
- Dimensions: should preferably be 750px wide by 300 - 350px high or similar proportions (otherwise we may have to do some constructive cropping to fit it into the space above).
- The judges’ decision is final, and all that malarkey. If you break the rules, we reserve the right to send the boys round to sort you out.
If you’re not the lucky winner, don’t forget you can also buy a Beat t-shirt from Cafepress to help support the site.

so, exactly what kind of photography are you looking for? and can i submit more than one photo? i am an amateur photographer, but i may be able to find something fitting for the contest…

Any sort of photography will be judged - and you can submit as many pieces as you like! I’ll be posting some of the best submissions so far at the start of next week.

Well, I found your site and thought I would post a comment to this entry. If I had a way of taking photographs of my artwork I would enter them, but seeing as I do not, I fail. Thats alright though, thanks for visiting my site!
