Haiku
by Abigail George
The siren
Her lips feel like stone
When she says nothing at all.
Yet she still is loved.
Alive
Dying, dying lives -
Lonely against the light
Where is the love today?
The first taste
I have grown weary
Burning and insatiable
Heaven cannot wait.
Gone
Delicate like scent
With a shiver, like fever
Missing - he is gone.
Criminal
Searching for the light
I don’t want to fall asleep -
Read between the lines.
Hush
More than just a phase
Uninvited you kiss my face
You’re cool - dangerous.
Birthday letters
Sweeter than sugar
I can’t help falling in love with you
Trapped in your kingdom.
Night fever
Knowing, saved, disguised
Let me fall to where you are
Carrion ignited.
