Schizophrenia
by Linda Rosenkrans
Turning days
And wind chimes
Sleep
Faster under
Railroad tracks
The dark caves
Sometimes glow
After midnight
Singing maddening songs
In the cold breeze
Until it loses its voice
Fishnets capture
The sheep
An orange wolf
Devours them
Alone
Except for
The breathing thread
In the carpet.
